Sushi!

This morning cathy and i went grocery shopping because i'm goig to cook tomorrows dinner. I'll do my famous bami goreng. Then we went to the jamba juice, it's a store where you can have fresh fruit juices. I loved it! I took a drink with banana, strawberry and blueberry.we also took a little walk at the american river, it was quit interesting because we were at that place where the salmons finish their trip. They travelled all the way from the ocean ,up the american river! And at that place, they blocked the way from the salmons to catch them and kill. It's brutal but they'll die anyways. It's a one way trip for them. for today's dinner i tasted sushi! We went to a sushi restaurant today, and i think i'm starting to like japanese food! :)

Today aunt cathy, courtney and i went to the movies! We watched mission impossible. It was pretty cool and i'm impressed that i watched such a action movie.. Normaly i could never do that! Uhh and the picture was in front of the movie by a fontane. I will not tell you what my wish was! ;)

first american christmas!

it was an awesome experience to be with family elder at christmas. alot of people came over to our house and we had a good time. of course, we opened our presents at christmas morning and you should have seen how many christmas present i got! it was pretty amazing.. i got UGG's Mokasins, a straigthener, lots of cloths, gift cards and many more things. and then the dinner with a big peace of meat! ! it was delicous. 


right now, i'm in sacramento at chris's sister house. courntey and i are going to stay here for this week. i really like it here! today we went to connies college and she showed us the whole campus . it was interesting!  we are going to look for many other colleges because courtney still has to decide to which college she wants to go. as her bigger sister connie, she's planning to move down to sacramento after she graduated the highschool in kelseyville. they're both very lucky because their aunt lives in sacramento, so they don't have to worry about where to stay.

the lazy days of christmas are coming and i like it! it's just the weather which is  confusing me.. it's sooo warm here while switzerland is freezing. if all the christmas decoration wouldn't be here i would definitely think is like october ..

OMG today, my hostparents went christmasshopping and it looks like it's gonna be amazing. :) have a look under the tree..

oh and cheerleading went pretty great. sadly i didn't make a video of the dance.. BUT i have a picture of our cheerteam . because we also had a little competition between the cheerteams of other highschools. throw all the basketball games, a judge whatched us if we always smile and how the quarter cheers are and also the half time dance. yayy and the hard work was worth it. WE WON

courtney and i just watched the movie "bad teacher" with cookies and milk it was good! i'm looking forward for those christmas days. :)

today we had a long day for cheering and tomorrow's not even getting better.. BUT the good thing about tomorrow is that it is the LAST day before christmas!! yyay

today we decorated the christmas tree! yay. it is a fake tree with little lights on it.. and the angels wings on the top of tree, are also full of lights and they're changing color all the time.. cool stuff! :)

ohh and i won for the "funniest person" from all the seniors .. isn't it that awesome. and courntey won fort "best laugh".!! we're gonna be in the yearbook for that..

tomorrow the records bee tournament will start. it is again a basketball tournament and there we have to cheer! so maybe i'm gonna put a little movie up .

today i finally got to send my christmas presents for my family!! i had just bad luck with it.. my hostdad wanted to give a wine to my family and put it also in my presents, i rapped it nice with christmaspaper and then they told us it is illegal to send wine in a package.. noooo we had to open everything and take it out. well well.. :)

only 3 days left until CHRISTMAS BREAK!! unbelievable how fast the time goes.. i'm very excited for christmas . i already made my the presents for my family back in switzerland but i have to send them nooow! i have them ready but the process to go to the mail station is just always failing.. hopefully i'll get them send off tomorrow.

aaahh :(( i'm so sad. devin, a very very good friend of mine's going to move..

yesterday, i had my first schoolbusride! and i need to say, it's cool when you just drive it once as an experience but i don't know if i want to do it every day. it's pretty cramped in there and loots of other kids are screeming around. so i enjoyed it because i knew it's gonna be my first and last busride. i kinda prefer courtneys car which drives right to our house and has good music ;)

ah and you're probably wondering why i drove the bus just one time.. it's because i never did it befor and i really wanted to do it once. so on this day i decided to go to the schooloffice and ask if it's possible. they love my so it was noo problem.. ^^

so the schoolbus ride is checked on my bucket list and i'm looking forward to try out new things!!

how baad would i loove to eat a grittibänz right now. it's samichlousetag and it's seems that americans don't really celabrate this day.. :(

on sutarday morning steffany, courntey and i headed up to san francisco. and that day we just had our crazy shopping day. :) we ate at the cheescake factory mmmh it was delicous and for desert a good old cheescake which has so much sugar, butter and choclate in it, that you almost feel how your belly is getting bigger. i loove it! ;) but it was worth it!

the hotel we were staying at was just amazing!! it's called "THE W" and you should have seen the room we're staying at! also just the whole design of everything was awesome.

on sunday we kinda just slept in and ate a good breakfast in the city. after the that we went on the spectacular golden gate bridge! it's amazing how big it is and we're were kinda lucky that we had such nice weather because it's always very foggy in san francisco.. so the view was peerfect! :)

First official day as a cheerleader!

It was wierd to cheer the first time and i was soo tired after the basketballgame because you always need to be very attention what's happening.. If it's shoot the hoop or defense! Haha ya but i'll get use to it.. Today we all need to go to school with our cheeroutfit because there we'll be another gane today. Ooh and by the way our basketballteam is pretty good!! Not like the footballteam..;)

i've cleaned up and i had such a great day again! :)  

we went to the sportsmeeting, where every summersport athletics meet. there, they called the best players out .. and also those who had a 3.5 in school and higher ( in our country, this is like a 5.5) aaannd you can't believe but i have a 3.83 so they called me out too.! it is about beeing an athletics and still be good in school .. it's called      " interscholastic athletics". uuh so schulterklopf number one :)

 and then i got also the price for the most valuable player from our team! isn't it that awesome?! schulerklopf number two!

if you never saw the movie "the notebook" before a just say WATCH IT!! omg i can't believe i never saw it. until today .. i'm sooo glad courtney proposed me to watch it.. it was just a wonderful movie and i had to cry like a little baby:)

it's the probably the weather which makes my mood so good! :) so far, i have i great week..

and what defenitly made my day is that i'm nominated for the most valuable player in cross country! so that means tomorrow chris and i are gonna go the gym and there will be the other athletics like footballplayer, volleyballgirls, soccer girls and boys... and there we probably gonna get smth. ya we'll see.. 

today i had to wear my red zweisimmen jacket for school :) and i did some commercial. haha i got some funny questions like " are you working for the red cross?" ^^  they were confused because of our switzerland WHITE cross that was on my jacket. 

Great start after thanksgiving break!

i had a suprising great day. it was like a birhtday again! on cheer practice our couch tiffany brang me and the other girl from the cheer squat who had also birthday, 6 baloons and cookies and cupcakes for the whole group. everybody sang for us and we had to stand in the middle of the circle. ^^

AND i recieved a packet from my dear family. aah i was so happy about it! :) they sent my a big red sweatherjacket with ZWEISIMMEN on it, my home town. :) and very cute purple earrings. . of course many other little things . THANKS MAMA&ADI

my 17th birthday in america!

my 17 birthday was just awesome.. we went to six flags a big amusement park, which is ca. 2 hours away from us. i invited my friends katie, julia and devin to come with us.


we had alot of fun! and it was a perfect day to go there because it was black friday, a day where everybody goes shopping bc of the sales. yeah so good for us !! we went on soo many rides that i still felt it in my bed when i closed my eyes. :)


and you can't believe what i got for my birhtday! an i-pod touch!! i'm sooso in love with it :) thanks chris, michelle, connie and courtney! :) today chris made my favourite dish..mmh it was delicous. he made bami goreng! and for the desert i got a german choclate cake from my dear sister courtney.. :)

so i had a very nice break and i'm kinda excited to go to school. see my friends and be busy! and for the weekend it will be saaan fraancisco again! yay!


today i rearranged my room.. i like it much better now.

san francisco!

the days are lazy now, we have one week off! but last weekend we went to san francisco. the rain just don't wanted to stop but the rest was just amazing. we went to see cirque du soleil. a kind of circus with a spectacular show. we saw alot of things but i definitely have to go back there.. and it will be in two weeks!! :) but anyway, on sonday kathy, the sister of my hostdad took us down to the pier 39. there are lots of little shops and also a "rest place" for sea lions..

from this place we also saw the the golden gate bridge and the famous prison alcatraz!

another exciting thing was the cable cars! back in the 1870 they used horses to transportate people but after a horse accident Mr. Hallidie had inspiration for a calbe railway.

san francisco is also famous for their victorian houses. they where built in the gold rush but sadly the half of the victorian houses are broke after the earthquake and the fire in 1906. on the right you can see some.

and as we where walking we also met the campers from the occupy wall street. 

i really had a great weekend!

and i'm looking forward to go again.. and what's also very exciting..! my birthday's coming up!! uuhh

We're in san francisco right now and in a view minutes the cirque du soleil's gonna start! It's aamazing! We're all having a great time! :)

today was a very lazy day .. because we didn't go to school.. but very soon chris will come home and he drives us to sacramento.. there we will watch twilight and then tomorrow we'll go to san francisco!! :))

the kelesyville highschool is famous in america!!

a week ago, the CBS came to the school to record about our cafeteria. because they serve very healthy food ..

AND today we really came in the "early show" !! you need to watch it! and the best thing i'm in the clip too! haha at 2.26 you can see walking in the background..

sacramento, bowling and school

last weekend chris, courtney and i went again to sacramento! :) we went shopping and you can't believe it but santa claus is already out there! we where in the mal and there we saw santa sitting on his chair and a lot of children who wanted to take a picture with him.. funny.. 


then we also went bowling because we where invited to a brithdayparty of chris's friend! it was alot of fun!!

school is always alot of fun and i need to tell, i have excellent grades! :) you should be proud of me.. 


ooh and guess what we're going to san francisco next weekend!!! and then after san francisco we have no school for one week because of thanksgiving! and after thanksgiving is my birthday.. aah i just looove my life! :)

the police came to school!!!

fort bragg didn't go very well. there where soo many runners! 87 girls.. and i came in 32th so not very bad but i could go faster. i was just not feeling good. i'm kinda sick today. but all in one i had a unforgettable cross country season! and when i ran up the hill at the race and saw the beatiful ocean i really thought i just need to enjoy it. i wish i had my camera with me.. haha .
so i'm in school rite now,computer class.. and in the second class the police came to our school!!! we had to leave everything in the class room and they came with a dog. sadly, one guy really had stuff in his bag. :(

ok i don't really have time so... i need to stop. today it is also the last footballgame. it's gonna be freezing!!! but i'm excited! :)

i got something in the mail!!

everyone is so jaelous, because i'm the one who has the most letters and boxs in the mail!! :)  i like it!


and today i got a mail from my loovely lovely friend nicole! i was so excited about it!  :D

she put everything in it!! it's stuff i can't buy here in the US and i really missed it! for example the chewing gums!!! ah i love them ! :)

tomorrow is the last cross country meet.. :( buut when i'm gonna be under the top ten, i will be qualified in the states. that means i can go further on against all the runners in california. uuuh! that's crazy.. i'm a little bit nervous but i won't care if i don't get it..

and the best thing about tomorrow's meet---> it is on the ocean!! aah i love just love to go to fort bragg!

SACRAMENTO!!

this weekend we went to sacramento and it was pretty cool! my hostfather's sister lives there and connie my hostsister lives also in her house because of the school. i really like her house.. ^^

on the evening we went to I MAX to watch a movie. it is a veery very high quality cinema with also a very good sound system. we watched puss in boots in 3D and i was soo funny!! you should really go and watch this movie!
