lake tahoe!

after a great weekend in lake tahoe we're finally home. everybody is sore and tired but for a good reason. we skied all day long on saturday. it was wonderful, it really reminded me of switzerland. in fact on saturday evening we went to a "swiss chalet" restaurant and it was halerious! they really copied everything even the music was swiss music. ! on friday we went to a fancy restaurant buffet where you can get whatever you want. it was awesome. i have to say i tried sushi and crab and i really liked it! . you'll see it pictures below.

excited for ski trip in lake tahoe!!

after a great day i'm laying cosy in my bed. i still feel the water in my ear from the swimm meet. it was cool! i had to swimm a 50 backstroke relay, that means with your in a team 4 other swimmers . and each one has to do either butterfly, crowl, breaststroke or like me , backstroke. and then i also had to swimm a 50 plus a 100 crowl. and then some more relays... :)

so tomorrow my hostsister and i are only gonna stay for 3 periods. and then family elder is gonna have a ROAD TRIP to lake tahoe!!! i'm superexcited because everybody sais that lake tahoe is a beautiful place. we're planning to go skiing until sunday .

i just talked to my lovely mother and she told me that it's snowing in switzerland.and i have to tell, i'm sooo happy i get to be in california right now. :)

swimming was super exhausting today. this pool has so much chlor in it that my skin starts to dry out and my arm hairs are getting blonde. haha so strange. i have to put lotion on twice a day and my skin is still superdry . tomorrow we'll gonna have a swimm meet. it's at our pool and i'm actually not nervous. once i am in the water it just feels good and it's like your in there for your own. an awesome feeling, almost hard to explain.

since we had a minimum day today, we got to eat at studebackers, our favourite coffeshop. i just love it there. it is so cute and comfortable. i had a delicous tomato mozzarella sandwich with a "kelseyville cooler"drink.

we love ANKERS!

today was a beautiful day! the weather was so warm and bright. but still it was a monday and that's what makes me lazy.. it's always the hardest thing to get ready for swimming and then to jump into the water.. uugh but then when i'm in there it is alot of fun!
anyways i just wanted to tell you about my new love, ankers. hehe kinda everybody loves them:)

and then yesterday, we went to a play. it was about two women, who lived together but one was very messy and the other one was a overcleaning person. ya.

aand then today chris and i made dinner!! well, im not gonna lie but the dinner was THE BOMB! chris got that  jamie olicer cookbook from my parents about dishes all around the world. and now we finally decided to cook something out of it. first was, a swedish salad then a chicken, olive and preserved lemon tagine and then for desert a delicous berry pie. yuuum!

the weather is soo bad right now. ! i hope it's gonna be better soon i just heard that the weather in switzerland is supper good. :( well i don't think i'm gonna have tennis practice today. but the tuff swimmers not gonna quit swimm practice when it's raining.
i'm going to do pictures when there's better weather because it looks waay nicer with the sun, trust me!
